The sixth edition of Milano Unica, a textile products trade fair held in China recently, saw a 14.7% year-on-year hike in visitors visiting the fair.

The 13.1% decline in Italian export to China, registered during the first few months of 2014 had everyone pessimistic regarding attendance at the fair.

However, the organisers of Milano Unica say, over 3,900 selected visitors from not only China, but also from Korea, Russia and India visited the trade show.

The high number of visitors also created a sense of optimism for the 127 Italian exhibitors who presented top-end textiles and accessories from different regions of Italy.

Milano Unica featured merchandise from a wide array and category of textiles and accessories collections, for both men and women.

Milano Unica informs that most of the exhibitors were satisfied with the orders or interest generated by the visitors in their products.
