Texhong Group from China is building an Industrial Park in Vietnam's northern Quang Ninh province, which will house textile and apparel production units.
Texhong held the ground-breaking ceremony to build infrastructure for the project, last weekend.
The project will be spread across an area of around 660 hectares and will be built at an investment of some VND 4.52 trillion or around US $213 million.
The Texhong Hai Ha Industrial Park is located 120 km east of Hanoi and is part of the Mong Cai Border Gate Economic Zone in Quang Ninh province.
The project includes a management centre, an industrial effluent plant, textile-apparel businesses and service areas. The Park hopes to attract both domestic and foreign investors.
When fully operational, the Park is expected to create around 30,000 jobs for those living in the surrounding areas and also provide momentum for the Mong Cai Border Gate Economic Zone.
