过年前外贸人要做的事情

        随着我们中国的大新年越来越近,年味越来越浓,朋友圈上各种朋友晒放假时间。你的小心脏是否也躁动起来了?是的,我的确也非常期待这个节日可以回家与亲朋戚友们共聚一堂。As our Chinese New Year is getting closer and closer, you can see your friends’ holiday on WeChat moment. Do you look forward to your holiday? Yes, I do look forward to this festival to gather together with my family at home.


        但是想要过个开心的肥年,身为外贸人的我们必须要在假前做好以下工作:
To enjoy a wonderful New Year, we foreign traders must do a good job on the following matters:

        一、年前确认订单的客户,尽快全部落实所有订单信息
Try to confirm each order before the New Year ASAP
 
        大家都清楚地知道,中国新年是个大节日。所以假期也会相对比较长。特别是工厂工人一年难得回家一次,假期也会更加长。但是国外的客户并没有这节日,而且新的一年,大部分客户会纷纷为新一年的销售计划而安排新单或翻单。所以业务得抓紧时间在节前将计划落单客户的订单信息全部争取在新年前落实,否则年后因为劳动力和生产线的不稳定会出现延迟出货的情况,那么最后两头难的还是业务自己。
It is known to all that the Chinese New Year is a big holiday so the holiday will be relatively long. In particular, factory workers can just go home once a year, their holiday will be relatively longer. But foreign customers do not celebrate this holiday, in addition, in a new year, most of them will have new procurement plan and repeat order. Therefore, salesmen should confirm all orders and arrange production before the New Year holiday ASAP. Otherwise, after the holiday, due to the instability of labor and production line, delay of shipment may occur and salesmen will be caught in a dilemma.

        二、订单跟进进程做好备忘记录
Do a good job on memo records when following up with orders
 
        新年伊始,不要给年味熏昏了头。手头的重点跟踪进度做好表格记录,订单的情况也做好订单进程。最好将相关资料带回去,方便随时联系跟踪。
At the beginning of the New Year, don't still be immersed in a festive atmosphere but make a chart to record your following process as well as orders. You’d better take relevant information back home so as to contact or follow up.


         三、致以客户节日的问候
Holiday greetings to customers
 
         虽然国外客户不过中国新年,但是在你与亲朋戚友举杯共庆的时候,不妨也给一直支持你的客户捎句问候,嘘声寒问句暖。用心对待客户,客户才会将你放在心上。另外,一定要告知客户你的具体的放假时间并设置好邮件自动回复。对于重要的客户也可以致电祝福,与客户分享。
Although foreign customers do not celebrate CNY, when enjoying the holiday with your family, you’d better send greetings to customers who always support you. As long as you treat them sincerely, they will consider you in their heart. n addition, be sure to inform customers of your specific holiday time and set up automatic mail reply. For important customers, you can also make a phone call to express your wishes.


         四、重点客户不要忘记联系跟进
Remember to follow up key customers
 
         新年假期期间,大部分业务都会将工作抛诸脑后,然后一醉方休。但是这里建议还是每天抽点时间联系推进下重点客户,那就可能会带给你不一样的惊喜。因为所有中国供应商都在放假休息,那么客户肯定就会空闲起来,会有更多的时间和你唠叨。那就意味着你的竞争对手少了,机会多了。那么报价,洽谈的计划也会相应地多。
During the New Year holiday, most of the salesmen will put their work aside and then enjoy party during holiday with abandon. My suggestion is to contact with key customers in each day, and it may surprise you because all Chinese suppliers are in their holiday, customers will be more willing to talk with you. That means your competitors are less and opportunities more. Accordingly, you can get more chance to quote and negotiate.
