Messe Frankfurt to train differently abled people
Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India announced a special training course for differently abled people in the Sunder Nagri region of
“The workshop is targeting differently-abled people of Sunder Nagri slum, in order to promote skill development and social empowerment in the community,” a Messe Frankfurt press release said.
A special art and craft skill training centre has been set up where training in handwork cushions, handbag stitching, hand embroidery and the art of creating small artefacts will be offered.
“Apart from the training, employment-oriented skill development courses will be offered for differently-abled people of this area,” the trade show organiser added in the press release.
The workshop will be conducted for a period of two months following which the participants will get a platform to showcase their art and crafts at Heimtextil

According to Messe Frankfurt, the platform will be used to endorse the products and skills of differently-abled people and provide direct business links to make them independent.
Messe Frankfurt further added that since its inception, it has been committed to supporting developments, contributing to economic growth and improving the quality of life for the communities where it operates.
